current status:

building a lot with AI. life is great. it's the golden age of tinkering. but I miss working with a small, seriously good team in person every day

looking for:

• colleagues who are better than me, an incredible founder/leader
• lots of riffing, shipping, making contact with reality every day
• building at the AI product layer. i'm fascinated by software factories, moltbook, claude tag, parallel.ai

me:

• Bootstrapped Simple Poll to $2m ARR
• Spent a few years building Kolo, a python debugger on steroids. Originally for humans, then for Claude. Learnt some version of the Bitter Lesson in the process
• Before that: Software Engineer at GitHub. Built the GitHub Slack integration. Also hacked on: API, Diffs, GitHub Actions.

what i've been up to recently:

• Building an autonomous AI CEO & factory tired: a computer in every home wired: an agent for every funnel for Simple Poll
• Building my personal agent Chad Chad's best feature: a hyper-personalised mobile app that plugs into all the best iOS APIs: live heart rate from AirPods during workouts, Live Activities with my current goal, upcoming deadlines, protein tracking, etc and the AI infra around it
• Co-hosting the Bad Agent podcast
• friends.fyi: my long standing dream of building a json webhook based social network has finally found legit use cases thanks to agents
• Too much triathlon: using gpt-4 to qualify for the 2024 world champs, then dabbled with creating a lifestyle brand
